“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.   For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”  – Matthew 11:28-30

Welcome to Faith Recovery Fellowship

This ministry was officially founded in late 2014, but truly began over 2000 years ago. We are a ministry primarily focused on providing transitional support to those leaving prison (or struggling on the outside) and entering society.   Too many people leave the confines of Alaska institutions with the best of intentions only to find themselves without any support, limited employment prospects and temptations around every corner.

Through Faith Recovery Fellowship we aim to address this very tough transition point in a believer’s walk with the Lord.  Our ministry reaches inside Palmer, Goose Creek and Hiland Mountain correctional facilities where we have been blessed to witness the Lord’s miraculous work in the hearts and minds of dozens and dozens of individuals.   Faith Recovery Fellowship is an extension of that ministry, focused on helping these individuals in their walk with the Lord – through regular fellowship and encouragement.

If you are struggling to find fellowship, perhaps you feel uncomfortable walking into a local church,  join us without any fear of judgment.  Please, contact us, and let us share our program with you.   We are here for you, we are here for each other.

In Christ we will be victorious!

Proposition No B-1 on the upcoming election day Oct 4th is perhaps the most important issue facing the residents of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. "Prohibiting Marijuana Establishments Except Those Involving Industrial Hemp in the Area Outside of the Cities". Please Vote!!! YES!!! and stand for the protection of those who will be negatively affected by the commercialization of marijuana in the valley.
This is not an issue we can afford to be complacent about. Personal use marijuana is already legal and a yes vote on the issue of commercialization does not change that fact.

Palmer and Wasilla have already prohibited commercialization and now it is up to the residents of the borough to keep this destructive drug from being more accessible. We have a moral responsibility to stand up for what is right and good. Help protect the valley from commercialization of marijuana.

Please vote YES on Proposition no B-1. Respectfully Pastor Scott Thompson

The young man is out of prison and has a great job, I praise God for allowing me to be in His Service. Wow, what a blessing. Kelly
