“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.   For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”  – Matthew 11:28-30

Welcome to Faith Recovery Fellowship

This ministry was officially founded in late 2014, but truly began over 2000 years ago. We are a ministry primarily focused on providing transitional support to those leaving prison (or struggling on the outside) and entering society.   Too many people leave the confines of Alaska institutions with the best of intentions only to find themselves without any support, limited employment prospects and temptations around every corner.

Through Faith Recovery Fellowship we aim to address this very tough transition point in a believer’s walk with the Lord.  Our ministry reaches inside Palmer, Goose Creek and Hiland Mountain correctional facilities where we have been blessed to witness the Lord’s miraculous work in the hearts and minds of dozens and dozens of individuals.   Faith Recovery Fellowship is an extension of that ministry, focused on helping these individuals in their walk with the Lord – through regular fellowship and encouragement.

ALL ARE WELCOME!

If you are struggling to find fellowship, perhaps you feel uncomfortable walking into a local church,  join us without any fear of judgment.  Please, contact us, and let us share our program with you.   We are here for you, we are here for each other.

In Christ we will be victorious!

Faith Recovery Fellowship is blessed to have a representative from Man in the Mirror Ministry with us this Thursday Evening May 26th to lead a discussion and answer questions about reaching "Men on the Fringe". Man in the Mirror has had a great impact on the ministry of FRF and this looks to be a good time talking about discipleship and how to be more effective.

All men are invited to attend at no cost. The time is 6:30 at the FRF office conference room. We look forward to what we can learn together about being more deliberate in discipleship for the Kingdom.
